The wedding is in Czechia and you live in Denmark. Keeping the whole chain — purchase, exposure and development — inside one country means the only thing that flies home is a stack of finished negatives. And finished negatives cannot be harmed by an X-ray at all.

Hand them to people who will actually use them rather than spreading one per table, and print a single line on each body: "Press the flash. Stand 1.5–4 m away." Those two sentences cover both of the failure modes that ruin guest rolls. Full playbook further down.

Develop at FILMSTORE in Prague — development only, uncut

50 Kč per roll, and their checkout has an explicit Negativ: Nastříhat / Nestříhat selector — uncut costs the same as cut, which is exactly what you want for scanning at home. Mostly same-day.

From Most, post them: 5 × 50 Kč plus 145 Kč for Zásilkovna drop-off with the negatives returned. Walk them into Praha 6 instead and it's 250 Kč flat.

Fly home with developed negatives

This is the step the whole plan is built around. A developed negative's silver image is fixed — X-rays cannot affect it, at any dose, in cabin or hold. The scanner problem that makes people nervous about carrying film simply doesn't exist once the film has been through the chemistry.

No lab scanning charge, no compression, no resolution tier to pick, and no waiting. This is what makes the whole route so cheap: scanning is normally the largest line on a film bill, and here it's zero.

One phone call to make before you post anything

FILMSTORE never states in writing that they will crack open whole disposable cameras — every other detail is published, but not that one. Ring +420 775 570 733 or email hello@filmstore.cz and ask:

Přijmete k vyvolání celé jednorázové fotoaparáty (Kodak), nebo je musím rozebrat sám? Je za to příplatek? A vrátíte negativy nerozstříhané, v celku?

If the answer is no, Polagraph is the guaranteed fallback — they say it explicitly: "Jednorázový foťák k vyvolání nám můžete předat celý, film není třeba vyndavat." That route costs 729 Kč instead of 395 Kč. Paying 334 Kč more beats prising five plastic bodies apart in a dark room and hoping.

Most has no film lab

Checked across Google Maps, zlatestranky.cz and CEWE's own directory. Three passes, same answer.

Closed

The CEWE FOTOLAB in OC Central is flagged "Trvale uzavřeno" on Maps and no longer appears in the mall's own tenant list. Only CEWE's own page still shows it open, which reads as stale.

Dead end anyway

Even open it wouldn't help. CEWE state it plainly: Nelze objednat pouze vyvolání — development can't be bought without prints, and they don't do black and white. Every CEWE branch is out.

Unresolved

FOTOSTYL Litvínov (12 km, 476 731 294) and FotoWare Teplice (27 km, 417 532 822) publish no development prices. Both look like CEWE-ecosystem drop-offs. Only a phone call would settle it — I won't invent prices they don't list.

The answer

Post to Prague. Most has staffed Zásilkovna at Mobilservis, Jaroslava Průchy 1682 and Květinka "U Dvojčat", Báňská 1635. Use a staffed counter, not a Z-BOX — a metal box in July heat is no place for latent images.

CorrectionEarlier research said FILMSTORE's webshop forces a scan bundle. That was wrong. Development-only is a first-class product with its own cut/uncut selector and a Zásilkovna flow — no walk-in required, though walking in saves 145 Kč.
TrapKodak Express's widely-quoted 99 Kč requires ordering prints — "vyvolání dvou a více filmů při současném objednání fotografií". Standalone is 199 Kč, and they cut negatives into six-frame strips, which defeats home scanning twice over.
NoteBlack-and-white pricing barely matters here — the Power Flash is loaded with Kodak 800 colour, so everything runs on the cheap C-41 line. FILMSTORE's dear B&W (150 Kč) is irrelevant to this job.

Same lens, same film — you're paying for the flash

Kodak sells one camera under four names. Knowing what actually differs stops you buying a badge.

LensIdentical across every Kodak colour disposable. Kodak publishes no optical spec, so all figures in circulation are estimates — but their own patent US5278597A describes this class as a single positive plastic meniscus element, 26–32 mm, f/9.8–11 on a curved film plane. No source distinguishes one model's optics from another's.
FilmAlso identical — Kodak uses one phrase, "KODAK 800 speed", for FunSaver, Power Flash and Daylight alike. That emulsion has no retail equivalent: Max 800 was discontinued in the mid-2000s and UltraMax is 400-only now, so it exists solely inside these cameras and has no published datasheet.
FlashThis is the one real difference, and it's the one that matters. Kodak's spec sheet: Power Flash "automatic Power Flash recharges", 1.2–4.5 m; Fun Saver "manual flash… must be charged before every picture", 1.2–3.5 m. Failing to charge the flash is the single most-reported reason wedding disposables come back black.
Same SKU"Fun Flash 27+12" and "FunSaver Flash 27+12" are one product — both EAN 5011373920944. Pure retailer renaming. The Power Flash is genuinely separate: EAN 5011373961312.
DisqualifiedKodak Daylight has no flash at all — jednorázový fotoaparát bez blesku. It's the cheapest Kodak with the best frames-per-koruna in the whole search, and it is useless for an evening reception.

On the day

From film-lab staff and couples who've done this — the failure modes are consistent and avoidable.

#1Flash non-use ruins more wedding rolls than everything else combined. Four separate lab employees said so independently; one couple got back a set where "the majority of our photos are completely unusable". The couples who taped instructions to each camera reported 60–100% usable frames. Your auto-recharging Power Flash removes most of this risk, but not the need for the label.
DistanceToo far is the bigger killer, not too close. Minimum focus is 1 m and flash starts at 1.2 m, so arm's-length selfies come out soft and blown — but the flash simply stops at 4.5 m, and guests routinely shoot dance floors from ten metres. Hence the "1.5–4 m" on the card.
Don'tDon't tape the flash permanently on. Popular advice, wrong for a long reception — the internal AA isn't built to hold a charged capacitor for six hours. Moot on the Power Flash anyway: it recharges per shot, so there's no switch to tape.
PlacementOne per table is contested by photographers. Table cameras go barely used because everyone assumes someone else is shooting, and you end up with half-finished rolls — which cost exactly the same to develop as full ones. With five, put them where the extroverts are actually sitting. And give one to a kid: lab staff consistently say children shoot the best rolls.
CollectionName one person to gather all five at the end of the night. This is the step every account says got forgotten. A wedding with sixteen cameras lost two. Also worth doing: photograph the table number with each camera so you know where each roll came from.
NeverDon't buy marketplace "bulk wedding packs". That's where the QC disasters live — labs describe off-brand reloads as scratched, light-leaked, and often holding 12–17 frames instead of the advertised count, some reloaded with badly de-remjetted cine film. Genuine Kodak stock has essentially no complaints on record.
RecycleThe flash needs a moment between shots. Wait for the ready lamp — two quick frames in a row and the second comes back dark even if everything else was right.

If you'd rather buy something else

Phantombefoto.cz shows 490 Kč — the cheapest price on Heureka — and doesn't stock it. Their own page says "na dotaz". Heureka lists it as live anyway.
MisreadRicoh-Pentax is not "565 Kč, 50 in stock". The price is right but availability is "do 10 dnů". The large stock number on that page belongs to the Kodak Fun Saver 27 — wrong camera, wrong frame count.
OutAlza has no Power Flash stock ("Momentálně nedostupné"), so Premium free shipping doesn't help for this particular camera. It does apply to the Ilford XP2 above.
WeakVK Foto and Stativy.cz look cheaper at 520 Kč but say only "Skladem" with no number — and share identical price and copy, so they're probably one operator rather than two independent fallbacks.
UnknownNo Czech retailer publishes a film expiry date on any of these. Expired stock is a known trap in this market. Worth messaging the seller before committing to five.

Why this route beats the Danish one

Cheaper

€98 against €108 for the same camera. Denmark's best was Foto/C at 154 kr each; Allegro's five-unit tier undercuts it.

Better verified

143 published units against an unverifiable "in stock". Foto/C's cart accepted 500 cameras without warning, so a basket test there proves nothing.

Cheaper to develop

€16 against €34. FILMSTORE at 50 Kč a roll versus Shutterbug Copenhagen at 50 kr — same number, very different currency.

No scanner risk

Buying in Denmark would mean exposed film flying to a lab, or a Czech purchase flying out unexposed and back exposed. Developing before you fly removes the question.
